Each person in our classroom has an assigned number and a basket in which he or she chooses a book that he or she thinks other people in our class should read. On Friday of each week, four to five students will have their choices featured here. In addition, each students' choice for the week will be listed. This post is a comglomeration of three weeks. So,  some of the books listed in the Featured Students section vary from the books featured in the list. Enjoy!

Featured Students

Student #10: I recommend the book Double Dog Dare by Lisa Graff. I specifically admire the part when Kansas is helping his mom study for a test about body parts. I think it is really cool how Kansas gives up doing his own work to help his mom. I loved it!

Student #12: The reason I picked Mixed by @arreechung for my reading basket because at the beginning there were only three colors red, blue and yellow. Then, they started mixing and making different colors. At the end there was a bunch of colors. I think this is important because the colors are changing from segregated to integrated.

Student #13: The book Road Trip with Max and His Mom by Linda Urban is fabulous because in the book it expresses Max’s feelings about how he wants to be an explorer.

Student #14: 100 bugs! by Kate Narita is an amazing book! All the pictures are so detailed and it's great for young readers. All of the bug are so interesting!

Student #15: Dear Mr. Stine, You remember your book Say Cheese And Die? Well I've found a camera that does the same thing that it does in your book.  Also, this is my favorite book.

Student #17: Land of Stories Book 2 by Chris Colfer is an amazing book. You have to read it to find out how the kids save the Land of Stories. Their minds help them. The rest you find out when you read it.
